Jack Vale is eager to start training with City after making the move to the Imps on transfer deadline day in September.
The 22-year-old forward is coming towards the end of his recovery process after picking up an injury at parent club Blackburn Rovers, and is now looking forward to training with City after recently linking up with his team-mates.
He said: “I am buzzing to be here and can’t wait to get going.
“When they were speaking to me about the club, it all sounded good. I think it was the right thing for me to come here.”
Vale, who signed for the Imps on a season-long loan, is also keen to use his attacking attributes to help make an impact when he returns to full fitness.
“I have seen it’s a good team and have done well in the league, so hopefully for me I can just help the squad.
“I like to describe myself as attacking, direct and want to get in behind defences.”
