Ethan Hamilton has said he is enjoying his football at the Imps after joining from Accrington Stanley in the summer.
The Scotsman has been ever-present in City’s midfield since his arrival and has been impressed by his team-mates, particularly his midfield partner, Ethan Erhahon.
He said: “I have been enjoying my football and playing with the really talented guys here. When you move to a new club it takes some time to get used to it all and settle in, but I have just kept working hard to help myself and my team-mates as much as possible.
“I really enjoy playing with Ethan, he’s super talented but there is also Ali Smith and Ted Bishop who can also play in there and have been unbelievable. Everyone is hardworking and down to earth, so it’s an enjoyable place to be.”
Hamilton is also pleased with the team’s performance on Saturday under interim head coach Tom Shaw and is excited to be back under the LNER Stadium lights on Tuesday evening.
He added: “We were pleased with our performance on Saturday, it is always difficult at Fleetwood Town, but I thought we had some good pieces of play and it was a great team performance.
“We will keep approaching every match the way we have been and we’re looking forward to getting under the lights. It’s exciting and everyone is feeling positive heading into the game.”
