Jaden Brown is eager for the Imps to pick up maximum points on Saturday in Sky Bet League One action to back up a positive result during midweek in the EFL Trophy.
The defender believes City can take positives from the Imps’ home form this season, as well as the backing from the supporters inside the LNER Stadium.
He said: “We know what will come against Burton Albion and it will be a tough game, but it’s important to focus on ourselves to get back to winning ways in the league.
“From my experience of being at a different team last season, our stadium is spoken about as a place you don’t want to go to. I’ve never won as an away player, so it goes to show with our home record this season it’s a difficult place to visit, especially with our fans who don’t stop.”
Brown has had to be patient for gametime since joining the club in the summer, but believes his positive performances in recent fixtures has come from the hard work implemented in training.
He added: “Everyone loves playing games of football and that’s what I came here to do. I enjoy getting minutes and being on the pitch.
“Sometimes you need to have an understanding the team that was playing was winning games and that’s football, so you have to respect your team-mates and who is in front of you.
“But it all starts from training, and you have to work as hard as you can every session. That meant I knew whenever my time came that I’d be ready mentally and physically to do well.”
