Michael Skubala is expecting a different type of test as his team travel to Leyton Orient on Tuesday night.
Skubala’s first game in charge came at Stevenage on Saturday, with the head coach confident his side will face a new challenge under the lights at Brisbane Road.
He said: “Leyton Orient are a good team and Richie Wellens has got them playing some really nice football.
“It will be a different game to Saturday and I think that’s one of the beauties of football, where you can play different opposition with different identities.
“It is another opportunity for us to go again and try to pick up three points.”
Skubala has been at the Imps for just over a week and wants to keep learning about his players as he aims to help move the club up the Sky Bet League One table.
He added: “I think there’s a difference between learning and judgment. I am definitely learning all the time about the players and how they deal with different situations.
“The players are not robots and I am trying to implement the way we think we should play as a club, and that’s going to take time.”
