TJ Eyoma praised the Imps’ work rate after his late equaliser earned City a point against Barnsley.
Quick-fire goals from the visitors saw them go ahead in the second half before Eyoma’s close-range finish late on secured a deserved point for the Imps.
Eyoma said: “We’ve got a never-say-die attitude right now. We’re all working hard for each other, and it’s showing that our hard work in training is paying off.
“We’re a good group - we stick together, and we got the goal at the end.”
The defender was also happy to score his first goal of the campaign in front of a packed LNER Stadium.
He added: “It was my first goal of the season, I’m happy to help the lads - it was a good draw.
“The place was bouncing, I could barely hear my team-mates at times. Thanks a lot to the support that the fans give us as we appreciate it.”
