Ben House believes there’s still more to come after finishing the season as City’s top goalscorer.
House netted 14 goals for the Imps in all competitions but insists that he’s going to keep pushing to reach the personal targets he’s set himself.
He said: “I ask a lot of myself and I think there is more to come. I know I have got more and I know I can improve on things, it’s just about putting the effort in and getting it done.
“I feel comfortable at this level now. It’s been tough, especially at the start of the season but I have stuck at it and am just delighted to end the season on a high.”
“I think not many people would’ve thought I'd win this award at the start of the season, including myself. To actually win the club’s golden boot is quite a nice feeling.”
The frontman is also proud to have been recognised for his efforts by his team-mates who voted him as the Players’ Player of the Season award.
He added: “I am delighted and the whole team have been great. I think there’s a number of players who could've won it. I feel privileged to be amongst the team and to have been voted.
“I try to improve every game and with the coaching staff, the players and the fans we have here I think I will be able to do that.”
