City's Academy will be holding a second U19 Shadow Scholarship trial event on Tuesday 11 April.
The event will be held at Riseholme College's Showground Campus (LN1 2ZR) between 12:30pm and 3pm.
The Shadow Scholars scheme is an opportunity for previous academy players and those seeking an opportunity to train and play a high standard of football under the umbrella of Lincoln City FC in conjunction with further education at Riseholme College.
Under the programme the Level 3 students at Riseholme College can put the foundations in place for future education opportunities at university, football scholarships in the US and potential careers within all aspects of professional sport.
Alongside the 4G pitch, the Shadow Scholars programme makes use of the College’s fully equipped strength and conditioning suite, along with dedicated coaches to help the players' learn and develop both on and off the field.
There are also pathways and progression opportunities throughout the season for those players who are excelling to train and play with the Lincoln City youth team and potentially beyond.
