Ethan Erhahon cannot wait to avenge Saturday’s defeat to Exeter City.
The Imps tasted defeat for the first time in 11 matches and the Scotsman is confident the side will be ready to bounce back.
He said: “We’re back home next weekend and we need to start fast so we can get our supporters behind us as quickly as possible.
“We’ve been on a good run but we need to dust ourselves down. We’ll hit the training ground and Monday and get back to what we do best.”
O’Connor’s headed goal was not enough for City in Devon, but Erhahon believes there were positives to take from the performance.
He added: “Exeter have a lot of quality players and their league position shows that. They have players that are dangerous but we always focus on our game more than theirs and I thought we dealt with the opposition for the most part.
“Their supporters create a good atmosphere but I felt as though we caused them issues for the first 30 minutes. That put us in a good place but ultimately, they scored and the momentum switched.
“Mistakes happen in football but we still had plenty of time after that and should have tested them more, but I think there a positives we can take.”
