Dylan Duffy believes he’s at the right club for him to continue his progression.
The Irishman made the bench for the Imps last weekend and is eager to hit the ground running when the opportunity comes around.
He said: “I was chatting to Jez George and Mark Kennedy for a while before I joined. When I signed, I knew it was the right place to be.
“I was delighted to be involved with the team last week but I don’t just want to be on the bench, I want to be in the team.
“When the opportunity comes I’ll be ready - whether that’s in the starting eleven or off the bench.”
After signing for the club earlier this year Duffy is pleased to be with the Imps and has said that the positive morale in the group has helped him to settle down in Lincolnshire.
He continued: “It is exactly how I wanted it to go. I wanted to build a name for myself in Ireland and I was really happy with the opportunity to come here.
“Everyone at the club are great and I think it helped when coming over that there are a few Irish boys here. It’s a really good group to come into.”
