The Foundation’s After School Club and Holiday Club have met Ofsted standards in a recent inspection.
After School Club runs every weekday evening at the LNER Stadium and provides childcare through a range of fun and educational activities to suit the needs of all who attend. Holiday Club runs during academic breaks.
Danny Carter, head of sport and physical activity at the Foundation, said: “We are delighted to share, particularly with the parent/guardians of the children who attend our After School Club and Holiday Club sessions, that we have met the expectations of the Ofsted report.
“We want to thank all our families for choosing us to take care of your children. Both Bishop King CE Primary School and St. Peter at Gowts entrust us to provide childcare for their children to support their families further.
“We are so proud of the safe, fun and nurturing environment we have created for them.
“Previously we have released our Impact Report for 21/22 which further showcases the impact of our organisation across all our programmes.”
Emily Mayer, interim headteacher of St. Peter at Gowts C of E Primary School, said: “The children at St Peter's thoroughly enjoy attending the After School Club and Holiday Club at the Lincoln City Foundation.
“The provision is highly engaging with staff offering a nurturing and safe environment. We are very lucky to have this provision in our local community and are thrilled that they have met the Ofsted requirements.”
Mrs H Wheatley, headteacher at Bishop King CE Primary School, added: “Thank you to all the staff at Lincoln City Foundation for providing after school and holiday club provision for our pupils. We would like to congratulate them on their Ofsted outcome.”
Everyone at the Foundation is also thankful to the work of partners Cargill who have contributed to hitting the Ofsted standard by providing nutritional and educational snack times during the After School Club sessions.
