Adam Jackson is keen to look ahead following City's narrow defeat to Northampton Town.
The central defender feels that the Imps need to put the result behind them quickly as they bid to get back to winning ways.
He added: “The head coach is really good at putting the game to bed win, lose or draw.
“We’ll go straight into Blackpool and see what they’re like and see what we’re going to do to combat them, and hopefully get three points on Monday.”
TJ Eyoma’s second-half header gave City hope after conceding twice to the Cobblers, and Jackson felt the Imps pushed hard for the equaliser.
Jackson said: “I think the whole place lifted and erupted, and then we were thinking that we had a really good chance to get something.
“Despite going down to ten men we probably dominated after our goal but couldn’t get it over the line and create enough - so there are positives to take.”
