TJ Eyoma has been enjoying his run of starts at the heart of City’s defence following the Imps’ 1-1 draw with Reading.
Ted Bishop’s cross into the box was deflected into his own net by Nelson Abbey to put City ahead, but Harvey Knibbs’ strike ensured a point apiece.
Eyoma said: “I’m enjoying it. Whoever plays we do a job, but us three are hopefully doing enough to keep our shirt, and we’re continuing to work hard in training.
“Adam Jackson and Paudie O’Connor are very experienced players, and I’m just trying to improve and learn off them every day.”
Eyoma also felt that a point was a fair result based on the run of play.
He added: “It was a tough game - they’re a really good side. I feel like where they are in the league doesn’t reflect the team they are.
“I thought we started well in the first half, and I thought a point was fair result in the end.”
