The Imps are set to continue their partnership with Lincolnshire’s largest law firm Wilkin Chapman for a third successive year.
Wilkin Chapman has renewed its status as a silver partner of the Imps, whilst continuing to support the club with all legal matters as its chosen solicitors.
With over 400 partners and staff located across a network of offices in Lincoln, Grimsby, Beverley and Louth, Wilkin Chapman provides a unique balance of trusted legal and insolvency advice to both private and commercial clients who are based locally, nationally and internationally.
Oliver Tasker, partner and joint head of its Lincoln office, said: “As a lifelong Imps fan, I’m delighted we are supporting Lincoln City Football Club once again this season. It is great to be involved with the club and to continue to provide legal support to assist with their growth and ambitions.
“Lincoln City has achieved such fantastic success over the past few years, and we cannot wait to see how far they can go again in the 23/24 season.
“The club has ambitious plans which brings a wider benefit to our wonderful city of Lincoln, as well as its supporters and the wider community. We look forward to continuing our partnership with the club, aligning our shared values to further develop our great working relationship.
“We’d encourage more businesses to be involved with the club and to look into the benefits of becoming a commercial partner.”
As a result of the partnership, Wilkin Chapman has contributed to many projects at the club, including the development of the Stacey West Stand. Once complete, the refurbished stand will be utilised by the Lincoln City Foundation - the club’s registered charity - aiming to improve the physical, social and mental wellbeing of the local community. Wilkin Chapman’s position at number 111 in the Lawyer UK's Top200 Law Firms for 2021 has seen them retain their place as the largest law firm in the Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire regions, with an unrivalled breadth and depth of legal expertise.
Andrew Whitham, City’s director of sales, said: “We are proud to be continuing our partnership with Wilkin Chapman, who are one of the most respected and experienced law firms in our region.
“The relationship with the team there continues to grow and flourish, and we look forward to working with them once again throughout the new season’s campaign.”
As part of the silver partnership, Wilkin Chapman receives tickets for matches, which are distributed to members of the firm’s 90 strong Lincoln-based team.
