The Imps have sold more than 2,300 tickets for the Carabao Cup second round visit to Sheffield United on Wednesday 30 August (7.45pm KO).
Gold, Silver, Bronze and Junior Imp members bought around 1,450 tickets before an additional 700 were purchased within 24 hours from them going on general sale on Monday morning.
As of 1pm on Tuesday City had sold 2,361 of the initial 2,725 allocation, with the hosts able to provide a further 140 tickets in the lower tier to take the allocation to 2,869, should there be demand for it.
Due to the costs associated with opening another stand, there is no guarantee that any additional tickets to this 2,869 allocation will be made available for away supporters.
Supporters wanting to go are therefore encouraged to purchase tickets at the earliest date possible to avoid missing out on the visit to Bramall Lane, with around fewer than 30 now remaining.

Should the allocation sell out then the club will look to create a waiting list, and only if the minimum number required (an additional 1,000 people) is reached in an appropriate time frame, will the club be able to request more tickets.
Please note that Sheffield United have made this an all-ticket fixture.
