Mide Shodipo is aiming to contribute more in the final third heading into the remaining five games of the campaign.
The 25-year-old found the net at Derby County and Plymouth Argyle but insists he wants to be more involved in order to reach his season targets.
He said: “I want to score more goals and believe it will come if I keep playing well. I would also like to play well every game and excite the fans.
“Each game I try my best and work hard to help the team. I love playing for this team and have been really enjoying it. I think the loan spell here has improved me a lot.”
Shodipo is expecting another tough test on Tuesday evening as the Imps look to extend their current winning run when welcoming high-flying Barnsley to the LNER Stadium.
He continued: “I am happy to be back playing and the team have been on a good run lately too.
“We take each game as it comes and hopefully we can extend our winning run. Barnsley are going for promotion so it will be tough.”
