Paudie O’Connor is excited to return to the pitch for this weekend’s Easter matches.
O’Connor was suspended for the previous two games but is now ready to help the as City take on Cheltenham Town and Plymouth Argyle in Sky Bet League One.
He said: “I am delighted to be back and help the boys out. They have had two tough away trips and got a good point last weekend, so it’s a positive mood going into the game on Friday.
“I am looking forward to getting going again. I am not used to a break but it has freshened me up a bit so I should be good to go.”
The Imps have eight games of the season remaining and O’Connor is keen to fight for every point possible as the team aim for a positive end to the campaign.
He continued: “There’s always something to play for no matter where you are in the league. We want to end as high up the table as we can and are aiming for a top half finish.
“After missing the last two matches I want to try and finish off as strongly as I can.”
