Mark Kennedy is pleased to have taken maximum points over the Easter weekend.
City picked up back-to-back wins against Cheltenham Town and Plymouth Argyle to show a reaction from a tough run of results.
He said: “It was important to bounce back after the defeats we have had and it’s been good for confidence.
“The lads have remained upbeat all year, but you could see how buoyant they were in training following the recent results.”
Despite a positive run and City’s place in Sky Bet League One all but confirmed for another season, the Irishman has reiterated the importance of remaining focussed over the final six games.
He added: “The minute we get complacent, we’ll be in trouble, so we will not allow that to happen – it’s about showing an elite mentality 24/7.
“The problem with our league is every game is winnable, but you could also lose them too. If we take our foot off the gas at any point, we’ll make it very difficult for ourselves.”
