Adam Jackson is pleased to have contributed to Saturday’s win with a rare City goal.
The City defender rose highest to head home Dylan Duffy’s cross for his first goal since making his Imps debut.
He said: “I was a bit annoyed I hadn’t scored earlier because I had an opportunity I could have done better with, but it was nice to finally get one in and get the win because it has been a long time coming.
“I think we’re in a good place right now. From being 2-1 and a man down, we showed we were good enough to come back and get all three points.”
Jackson was also impressed with fellow goalscorers Lasse Sorensen and Ben House who he believes have had a positive impact on the side in recent weeks.
He added: “Lasse Sorensen has been brilliant and works so hard every day. He’s been excellent for the last few weeks, particularly away at Plymouth, so he deserves his moment today.
“I also think Ben House has been phenomenal for us. He’s had a good goal return, but the bits he does off the ball also is outstanding and he makes us much better when he plays.”
