Saturday saw City put on their annual Junior Takeover Day - with young fans helping put on a matchday by taking on important roles throughout the club.
Taking on key roles such as chief executive, head coach, player, PA announcer and commentator - these Junior Imps members got to play their part in a day to remember on and off the pitch.
Jacob Buckthorp was chief executive for the day, joining Liam Scully - sending an email to chairman Clive Nates before joining other dignitaries in the boardroom.
Noah Paterson, groundsperson for the day, painted one of the penalty spots as he helped Brad Jefferies prepare the pitch.
Sisters Sophie and Evie-Jade Cartwright greeted visitors to the hospitality areas, joining the club’s commercial team.
Dawson King, referee, helped David Rock inspect the kits of both sides before joining in their warm-up - as players Alicia Cave and Luis Rossa were also going through preparations with the first-team players. Junior head coach Mason Whiting was with Mark Kennedy in his office going through tactics for the day.
PA announcer Ollie Daniels read the home team out over the tannoy, before joining communications manager Harrison Green to commentate on the match - look out for that on the club’s YouTube in the coming days!
Our thanks to all the Junior Imps who took part in the day, as well as Foundation and club employees who made the day such a success.
