The FPA guests for Friday's fixture against Cheltenham Town are John Finnigan and Paul Miller.
John Finnigan
John Finnigan was a midfielder who initially signed for City on loan from Nottingham Forest on transfer deadline day in 1998. He made six appearances that season including playing in the final match of the season when the Imps defeated Brighton to clinch promotion to the third tier. John signed a permanent deal with the Imps in the summer of 1998 and quickly became a key player, making over 150 first-team appearances and captaining the side. He was sold to Friday’s opponents Cheltenham Town in March 2002 and went on to make over 250 appearances for the Robins - twice winning promotion with them via the play-offs.

Paul Miller
Paul Miller played in midfield who first made his name with Wimbledon where he spent seven years. He made 80 top flight appearances for the Dons including their first ever Premier League match against Leeds United. Paul moved on to Bristol Rovers before signing for the Imps in August 1997. He spent four years at Sincil Bank, making over 100 first-team appearances and was a member of the 1997/98 promotion winning team. He has since continued to live in the Lincoln area.
