Terry Hawkridge
Terry Hawkridge was signed from Scunthorpe United shortly after the start of the 2015/16 season and was a key player during City’s final two seasons in the National League. Hawkridge played as a wide left-sided player, and although he only scored four goals for City in the National League, these included both goals against Macclesfield in the game where the Imps clinched the championship and promotion back to the Football League. He left Sincil Bank in the summer of 2017 to sign for Notts County and his clubs since then include Boston United and Worksop Town.

Paul Mayo
Paul Mayo is a local lad who was initially on the books of Nottingham Forest before signing for the Imps in the 1999-2000. Although he mainly appeared at left-back, wearing the number 46 shirt in his first season, he was also occasionally used both in midfield and in the forward line. He played in the 2003 play-off final against Bournemouth at the Millennium Stadium and continued to appear regularly until March 2004 when he was sold to Watford, then in the Championship. Paul later returned to Sincil Bank for two more seasons with the Imps and finished his senior career with spells at Notts County and Mansfield Town. In total he made almost 200 first team appearances for City.

Terry Cooper
Terry Cooper initially signed for City in December 1971 on loan from Notts County. He went back to Meadow Lane after making three appearances for the Imps but in the summer of 1972 he made a permanent move to Sincil Bank. Cooper, who started out playing in midfield, switched to centre-back with great success and went on to play almost 300 first-team games for City. He was a key member of the 1975/76 team which won the Division Four championship and was twice voted Player of the Season by the supporters. Cooper left Sincil Bank in the summer of 1979 and later played for Bradford City and Rochdale.

John Hawley
John Hawley was a young professional with Lincoln City in the 1960s. He mainly appeared as a winger, playing for the reserves in the North Midlands League. He also made appearances for the A team in the Lincolnshire League and played in the FA Youth Cup for the Imps. Hawley moved on in the summer of 1968 and signed for Corby Town. He later played for several local clubs including Boston United and Worksop Town.
Russell Berko
Russell Berko is a first-year academy player with the Imps who is sponsored by the Former Players Association. Berko is a striker who has played regularly for City’s under 18s in the Youth Alliance and the FA Youth Cup. He has scored several goals including an extra-time effort against Tranmere Rovers which set up the young Imps victory in the FA Youth Cup earlier this season.
