Harry Boyes believes his side were good value for the point City gained at Hillsborough.
The Imps battled back from a goal down against promotion hopefuls Sheffield Wednesday to secure a point, with Boyes pivotal in City’s equaliser.
He said: “It was a very good game and I felt as though we had some very good chances throughout the game, but we’ll take a 1-1 draw.
“When they got the goal and the crowd got behind them, we could have dropped our heads, but we stayed in the game and came back straight away and all round, it was a very good performance from us.”
The Sheffield United loanee has enjoyed back-to-back games in Mark Kennedy’s side and is eager to continue fighting for his place.
He added: “I feel like I’m having a good run out and after working hard to get into the team. I want to kick on now and keep going.”
