Mark Kennedy insists that his side keeps up their work rate at Bristol Rovers this Saturday.
Kennedy was pleased with his side’s effort in Tuesday’s win over Derby County, with statistics showing that his side ran an average of 11 kilometres during the match.
He said: “Statistics can sometimes give you a false impression of what a game looks like, but as a whole, we are a hard-working team.
“Our physical statistics are very good, especially on Tuesday against Derby. It is something we take great pride in.”
City will head to Bristol Rovers at the weekend for what Kennedy thinks will be a tough encounter in the Sky Bet League One.
He added: “Bristol Rovers have come off the back of a good season last year. They have an outstanding manager with great experience behind him.
“I keep saying this, but I think every game is a tough game. We will go there with the full intention of getting three points.”
