The first Lincoln City Half Marathon took place on Sunday - with more than 1,000 runners helping raise thousands of pounds for charity.
Alice Carter, head of healthier communities at Lincoln City Foundation, said: “It was great to see so many people enjoying the event, we had a wonderful turnout from runners, their friends and families, volunteers, and people around the city who came out to cheer people on.
"We were all pleased to see some fast times, including some personal bests, while we know a lot of money was raised for local good causes. A lot of people were also doing their first ever half marathon, which is a wonderful achievement that we are proud to have been able to facilitate.
"We're really thankful to Priory Witham Academy for being so accommodating when Boultham Park became unavailable. We'll review everything from the event and look to put on an even bigger and better event this time next year - our delivery partners Curly's were briliant and we're really grateful for the help from Jono and his team and look forward to working with them more moving forward."
The first Lincoln City Half Marathon was run by Lincoln City Foundation in partnership with Curly's Athletes, and thanks to support from sponsors Pals Battalion, Upp Broadband and CGI.
