Jeremy Lynch, a member of the YouTube sensation F2 Freestylers, is among the latest stars added to the celebrity charity match taking place at the LNER Stadium on Sunday 23 October.
Lynch, who boasts more than 35 million followers across his social media platforms, is returning to the LNER Stadium once again after being a part of the sellebrity soccer success in 2021.
The 35-year-old turned to football freestyling after being released from Arsenal’s academy as a youngster, initially appearing on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent before going on to become an internet star and filming with the likes of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Luis Suarez, Roberto Carlos and many more legends of the game.
The freestyler is also no stranger to charity football matches, having regularly represented England over the past few years in the ever popular Soccer Aid.
Lynch’s attendance is confirmed days after it was announced iconic former City player, Gareth Ainsworth, will pull on the famous red and white stripes again to raise money for the club's Foundation as part of the match.
Ainsworth, who was voted Player Of The Season in both campaigns he featured for the Imps in the 90s, made more than 80 appearances in that time and scored close to 40 goals helping City to promotion in 1996/97.
Ainsworth will join former Imps Simon Yeo, Terry Fleming, Paul Miller, Paul Mayo and Gavin Gordon in the match.
Additional celebrities participating in the charity football game include model Calum Best, former Eastenders actor Dean Gaffney, Britain’s Got Talent 2022 finalist Flintz, TV chef Dean Edwards and Bad Education star Charlie Wernham.
Kick-off is at 3pm on Sunday 23 October, but fans can enjoy the buzz of the stadium with the University of Lincoln Fan Village - open from 1pm.
Tickets cost £10 for adults, £5 for U16s and OAPs and £40 for VIPs. A booking fee also applies. Executive boxes, which can house up to 10 people, are £100.
