Danny Mandroiu is eager to get some more minutes under his belt following his City debut last weekend.
The 23-year-old signed for the Imps in the summer from Shamrock Rovers and is ready to kick on after coming on as a substitute at Bolton Wanderers.
He said: “It was very important to make my first appearance. I came over with an injury and have been on the sidelines for three months. I loved getting back out there to do what I do best.
“I feel fit and the more games I play, the fitter I am going to be. I know what to expect from the division and it is going to be physical and tough. I am ready to go and just delighted to be back.”
Having been in Lincoln since July, Mandroiu believes that the support from the people in the city have helped him to settle into his new life.
He added: “It is a good club to be at. The players, staff and people around the city are great. I am enjoying my time here so far.
“The home games are packed out and there is a full stadium every second week. The fans are great, especially in the corner of the GBM Stand where the atmosphere is unbelievable.”
