Lewis Montsma, who ruptured a cruciate ligament in our 2-0 win against Oxford United last month, had successful surgery in London on Thursday.
The club's medical staff will put no timescale on his return to action but Lewis will obviously not play again this season.
Lewis has also signed a new contract, committing him to Lincoln City until June 2024, which emphasises how highly Lewis is valued at the Imps.
