Imps goalkeeper, Josh Griffiths, says he and his side are ready for a physical battle against Wycombe on Saturday afternoon.
With statistics showing Gareth Ainsworth’s side are the most direct in the league, the Imps’ number one is prepared for a tough test against the play-off chasing side.
He said: “We know what they’re about and they are very good at it.
“Balls are going to be coming into the box and they have big lads throughout the whole team. It’s one of them where you think, bring it on.
“It’s going to be difficult, but we’ve got to go into the game confident. It’s going to be a fight at times, and we have got to stand strong, but I’m sure when we get the ball down and start to pass it about we’ll be able to out play them.”
Despite being just 19-years-old, Josh is an experienced figure which he uses to support Sam Long on his first loan stint at Drogheda in Ireland.
Griffiths said: “I still speak to him quite a lot to be fair. We get along well, he’s a great lad and obviously a really good goalkeeper.
“I want to see him do really well so if there is anything he needs, I’d like to help him out. We’re a similar age too, so that’s probably as good a thing for him as it is for me.”
