Mark Kennedy has praised the hard working nature of his side to earn a point against Wycombe Wanderers.
City recorded a 10th home league game unbeaten with a 0-0 draw against the Chairboys and Kennedy has commended the way the Imps dealt with the pressure thrown their way to extend the run.
He said: “It was a really hard-earned point. They put us under a lot of pressure with balls into the box from deep areas.
“We respect every opposition and made us work really hard, but at no point did I feel that we would concede. I think Carl Rushworth made one save in the first half but apart from that he had a comfortable afternoon.
The Imps earned another clean sheet at home and Kennedy credited the work of Adam Jackson who played an important role in the defence.
He added: “Our defenders had to work particularly hard and it was a game I was not looking forward to.
“I do not want to single people out but Adam Jackson has been outstanding for us when he has played. He is a brilliant professional and helps us out massively in both boxes.”
