City’s Sky Bet League One game at Cheltenham Town scheduled for Saturday has been postponed.
The Completely-Suzuki Stadium pitch had frozen during the week as temperatures dropped to -10C, but with milder weather forecast on Friday night and throughout Saturday the home club hoped to get the fixture on.
At a pitch inspection on Saturday an EFL official ruled that the pitch was unplayable and there was no prospect of conditions improving ahead of the scheduled kick-off time.
The fixture will be rearranged for later in the season, with tickets remaining valid for the new date. iFollow Imps streaming passes for the game will also still apply.
Anyone who wishes to receive a refund on their ticket can contact the ticket office at the LNER Stadium.
