Broadband supplier Upp have joined the companies supporting the first-ever Lincoln City Half Marathon.
The company, who are quickly growing their fibre network across south Lincolnshire, will become Competitor partners for the September event.
Mary Freeland, campaign manager for Upp, said: "As we're building our network across Lincolnshire we were immediately drawn to Lincoln City and their Foundation as we were impressed by the incredible work they're doing in the local community.
"We see this as the start of a partnership with the Foundation, and as we expand our network further across the county, look forward to working further with them on their community work."
Alice Carter, head of healthier communities at the Foundation, added: "Upp are a great partner for us, as a company building their fibre network across Lincolnshire it matches our expanding reach - we already run sessions right out to Mablethorpe on the coast.
"The first Lincoln City Half Marathon is something we're all looking forward to, we couldn't stage the event without the help of partners like Upp and we're really excited to work with Upp beyond this first race."
As well as signing up to participate, there are still opportunities to support this community event as a sponsor. To find out more about the event and register for your place on the start line visit www.lincolncityhalfmarathon.co.uk
