Jordon Garrick is looking to excite the City supporters following an impressive debut for the Imps in Sky Bet League One.
The creative winger played a part in City’s goal as the side drew 1-1 against Forest Green Rovers at the LNER Stadium on Saturday.
He said: “It has been a long time since I played a competitive game so it was nice to be out there and fighting for something.
“I want to showcase what I can do and I am grateful to the team for bringing me here. I want get the fans off their seats and to be scoring and assisting.”
Garrick was encouraged by the chances his side created as the Imps looked more likely to win all three points.
He explained: “We had enough chances to win the game and I feel like we restricted them quite well. Forest Green Rovers took their one real opportunity.
“Throughout the season we need to be killing those games off, but we will take the point and move onto Tuesday’s game.”
