Virgin Wines will be on the front of the Imps’ home shirts for the final time this season for the visit of Ipswich Town on Saturday - but this is far from the end of their relationship with the club.
Five different partners will feature on the front of the iconic red and white striped shirt over the course of the campaign, with Virgin Wines backing the Imps during the opening games.
Andrew Whitham, director of commercial affairs at the Imps, said: “I’d like to extend the thanks of everyone at the club to Virgin Wines and their chief executive Jay Wright for their support over the early months of the season.
“Virgin Wines are of course sponsors of our training and warm-up kits as we continue to work closely with them throughout the rest of the season.”
Virgin Wines is a multi-award-winning online wine specialist, and during 2020 delivered more than one million cases of hand-crafted, high quality wine throughout the UK to its customers.
They also sell a growing range of craft beers and hand-made spirits as well as having an industry leading drinks gift service.
