Joe Walsh says the unrelenting backing of the Imps fans is proving crucial this season.
City have scored in stoppage-time in their past three outings, including Regan Poole’s late winner against Charlton Athletic on Sunday.
Walsh said: “The support just keeps you going until the end of the game, it’s about being resilient and keeping going no matter what happens.
“The fans keep singing and getting behind you no matter what, they are behind you for the full game and it really helps.”
Saturday marked Walsh’s first full 90 minutes since recovering from a significant quad tear which kept him out of the opening matches of the season.
He added: “I am just glad to be back playing now, it was tough watching from the sidelines when I was not able to play.
“There was a lot of hard work in the gym, you just have to take every day as it comes and give 100% every day.”
