More than 8,000 supporters were at the LNER Stadium to soak up the big match atmosphere as the Imps took on Shrewsbury Town.
Fans who came down to the ground early were able to enjoy the facilities in the University of Lincoln Fan Village - with locally-sourced food and drink options available.
Supporters of both sides were able to take on a range of challenges put on by Lincoln City Foundation, including their inflatable football shooting practice and a spooky pumpkin trail.
There were moments of magic for a number of young fans before the match, with 10-year-old Ryan as well as 11-year-old Tom and 13-year-old Sam invited pitch side to watch the players warm-up before the match.
Supporter Stuart Dye, whose life was saved by matchday medical staff after a heart attack at a game earlier this season, was a boardroom guest of the club and got to meet some of the team who ensured he is still with us.
