Lincoln City Foundation is proud to announce the appointment of Dr Sunil Hindocha as their Chair to the Executive Board of Trustees.
Dr Hindocha, Clinical Director and GP at Portland Street Medical Practice, Lincoln brings a wealth of experience to the executive board.
The new appointment comes after Simon Walters, Strategic Director for Communities and Environment at City of Lincoln Council steps down from the role after serving as Chair since September 2018.
Martin Hickerton, CEO at Lincoln City Foundation said: “It is a pleasure to welcome Sunil to our executive board as Chair as we are in the midst of launching our 5-year strategy and are looking to support Lincolnshire’s communities post-pandemic. Sunil’s experience as a senior leader in Lincoln and his expertise in Health and Wellbeing will bring many benefits to the Foundation and those who access our services.
“I want to take this opportunity to thank Simon Walters for his commitment and unwavering support to our charity and look forward to continuing to work with him as he steps into the Deputy Chair role from July.”
Simon Walters said “On behalf of my fellow Trustees and all of the Lincoln City Foundation team, I want to formally welcome Sunil to the role of Chair and am pleased to be able to continue my support for the Foundation through the Deputy Chair role.
“Lincoln City Foundation is an amazing charity to be part of and we have seen significant growth over the last few years. We have some exciting projects and opportunities this year, to be further articulated in our strategy event due to take place in September 2021.”
