We are pleased to announce that Alex Palmer has been awarded the Papa John’s Trophy Player of the Round, following an impressive performance in City's penalty shootout win over Hull City.
The Imps shot stopper saved three penalties in the quarter-final shootout to secure the Imps their place in the semi-final.
City have been drawn away to fellow Sky Bet League One side Sunderland, with Michael Appleton's side travelling to the Stadium of Light on Wednesday 17th February.
The fixture will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Football, kicking off at 6pm.
