The Imps have seen a great opportunity with David Burghardt Vision Care, with the optical specialists becoming the club's official eye care provider.
The multi-award winning practice based in Nettleham have provided advice and assistance to the club for a number of years.
Mike Hine, the Imps' head of sport science and medicine, said: "We have a great relationship, we know we can get support from them whenever we need a player to undergo a vision assessment.
"This could be when we make a signing, when someone is coming back from a head injury or just ongoing care for players who require an optical correction or contact lenses."
Andrew Whitham, the Imps' director of commercial affairs, said: "The team at David Burghardt have shown great professionalism and flexibility with us, so we're pleased to be able to formalise this collaboration between our organisations."
Clinical director David Burghardt added: “It is an honour to be working with the LCFC medical team to ensure the players enjoy optimal visual performance and eye health.
"The practice team at our state-of-the-art ophthalmic facility in Nettleham are excited to support the Imps. We hope to be able to make a small but important contribution towards a successful campaign this season.”
