Jovon Makama and Hayden Cann have joined Northern Premier League side Gainsborough Trinity on loan.
The duo have featured a number of times for the Imps throughout pre-season, with Jovon making the matchday squad in City’s Carabao Cup first round tie against Shrewsbury Town.
Jovon and Hayden will now be able to experience the demands and physical challenge of competing in the Northern Premier League (Step 3).
The players will also be eligible to play in FA Youth Cup fixtures for the Imps.
Director of football Jez George said: "As previously explained these loans are an opportunity for Hayden and Jovon to gain valuable experience at a senior level which will be far more beneficial to them than playing in our youth side on Saturdays."
