City goalkeeper Grant Smith has today left The Imps re-joining his former club, Boreham Wood, on loan.
The 26-year-old has linked back up with ‘The Wood’ in a temporary switch until the end of the season. Grant has so far featured 22 times since joining City from Boreham Wood in the summer of 2018.
This is the second loan spell away from LNER Stadium which the ‘keeper has made, following his seven-game spell with Maidstone United in late 2018.
Following the departure of Smith, we can confirm the signing of Charlie Andrew from Championship side, Hull City. The goalkeeper links up with The Imps signing a short-term deal in order to provide back up to the first team until the end of the current league campaign.
