Josh Vickers has been nominated for the EFL SkyBet League One player of the month award for August.
Vickers started the season brightly as The Imps made a positive start to life in SkyBet League One, the 23-year-old kept four clean sheets over the calendar month with three of those coming in the first three appearances of the season against Accrington Stanley, Rotherham United and Southend United respectively. His fourth clean sheet came in the final game of six across the opening month of the season against Fleetwood United in City's last home game at Sincil Bank.
The Imps' keeper is nominated along with Rochdale forward Ian Henderson, Ipswich Town striker Kayden Jackson and Peterborough United creative midfielder, Marcus Maddison.
In the Championship, the winner will be one player from Preston North End's Daniel Johnson, Charlton striker Lyle Taylor, Swansea City defender Mike van der Hoorn and Ollie Watkins of Brentdord.
SkyBet League Two nominees are Eoin Doyle of Swindon Town, Grimsby Town striker James Hanson, Ryan Haynes from Newport County and Forest Green Rover's Joseph Mills.
The winners of the respective awards will be announced on Friday.
