The Lincoln City Fans Player Scheme has now become an officially-recognised Community Interest Company.
The FPS, founded by Paul Dawson in 2012, is now led by Andy Helgesen to help raise funds from the supporters for Lincoln City Football Club and boost the club’s community presence following relegation from the EFL in the early stages of the decade.

What is the FPS?
The FPS is a fundraiser whereby supporters can pay £10 a year’s membership with every penny being donated back to the football club. Once you have joined, FPS members will be entered into a monthly draw, which is supported by a range of excellent prizes which have been provided by a whole host of local businesses.
This season there are more than 600 members, which has raised an immediate £6,000, while the FPS also supported with the co-ordination of the sold-out Access All Areas tours of the Soper of Lincoln Elite Performance Centre and Sincil Bank Stadium.
The history…
The FPS steadily grew from 2012, and reached new heights when a campaign to support the manager’s budget in 2015 helped raise £33,000. This continued further, and the FPS played a key role in funding the signings of Nathan Arnold and Sean Raggett ahead of the historic 2016/17 season.
Andy Helgesen said: “The FPS continues to grow season on season, with our next target being 1,000 members. We would like to thank all of our members, local businesses and Lincoln City Football Club for helping drive the FPS forward.”
Imps fans can still join the FPS for the 2019/20 season here for just £10.
