The Imps Under 18’s have just five games to go in the Youth Alliance North East, but don’t take to the field this weekend.

City’s youngsters lost for the first time in eight games last weekend with Doncaster Rovers winning 3-1, ousting the Imps from second place in the table. However, with another 15 points to play for and the gap to the top spot being just four points there’s still time for a title tilt from Tom Shaw’s squad.

Although the Under 18’s aren’t playing, the other age groups in the Academy have a busy schedule of fixtures against Chesterfield and Scunthorpe United.

There are two under nine teams playing on Sunday, one heading to face the Iron and the other to the Spireites. There are also two teams of under tens playing this weekend, as they welcome their respective opponents to Lincoln Christ’s Hospital School on Sunday.

The under 11’s and under 13’s also travel to Chesterfield, while the Under 12’s, 14’s and 15’s welcome the Spireites to Lincoln. With the Under 16’s travelling to North Lincolnshire to face Scunthorpe United.

All the games this weekend kick off on Sunday at 10.30am at their respective venues.
