It’s now six unbeaten for The Imps under 18 side and this weekend it’s a trip to Huddersfield Town that awaits Tom Shaw’s squad.

Last time out on Friday, there was a 2-0 win over Oldham Athletic at home for City who currently top the table ahead of Lincolnshire rivals, Grimsby Town, by virtue of a point.

The opponents for The Imps this weekend are currently bottom of the standings, after losing their last two games, but have tasted victory on their own patch so still represent a challenge for City.

The game between the Terriers and The Imps takes place at the Huddersfield Town Training Centre, on Leeds Road in Huddersfield and kicks off at 11am on Saturday morning.

Chesterfield are the opponents for many of the younger age groups on Sunday, with the Under 11, 13 and 15’s coming to the city to face The Imps.  The under 10, 12, 14 and Under 16’s make the journey to face the Spireites on their patch over in Derbyshire with all games getting underway at 10.30am.

The Under 15’s also are at home this weekend, but the opponents are Sheffield Wednesday. That game also kicks off at 10.30am.

Meanwhile the Under 9’s get the experience of travelling to take on their counterparts at Premier League side, Tottenham Hotspur, at their training ground in Enfield.

Good luck to all the sides this weekend.
