Lincoln City Football Club, in association with Lincolnshire Brewing Company are pleased to announce ‘1884’ the new beer produced for Lincoln City.
The new beer, brewed locally in Langworth, will be available in all the bars and in the University of Lincoln Fanzone at Sincil Bank this coming season, was recently named by supporters after over 1,000 people voted in an online poll who decided that the year that the football club was established was the perfect name for the new brew, as it came out as the clear winner in the vote.
Both Lincoln City Football Club and Lincolnshire Brewing Company will be in attendance at the Lincolnshire show this week at the Lincolnshire Showground, on Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th June, so if you want to get to know more about the newest offering in the bars at Sincil Bank, then please come along and have a chat with us.
Claire and Karl Brown, Directors of Lincolnshire Brewing Company said: “We are delighted to be furthering our partnership with Lincoln City Football Club with the release of 1884. The success of Cheeky Imp, which raises money for the Youth Academy far exceeded our expectations and we hope that 1884 will achieve the same if not better, response from the fans as a nod to the ongoing success of Lincoln City Football Club.”
