Lincoln City are supporting a village church to help raise vital funds following heartache in a local community earlier this year.
North Scarle Church, a local village parish, based to the south-west of the city, had lead stolen from their roof, leaving the Grade One listed building needed £22,000 worth of repairs.
The Imps are helping the local Church raise vital funds by allowing fans to visit the Church and have their photo taken with the Sky Bet League Two trophy.
Each photo taken by the professional photogrpaher will require a small donation to the Church, which will go towards helping the building and repair works on the roof.
North Scarle is home to numerous City Season Ticket holders, with the Church being one which Club Chaplain Reverend Andrew Vaughan takes care of.
"For a small church on the outskirts of Lincoln, we can not thank Lincoln City enough for generously bringing the EFL League Two trophy to help us meet the challenge of repairing the roof," Club Chaplain Reverend Andrew Vaughan said.
"It shows how our football club is keen to work with all parts of the community, and for this support we are extremely grateful."
Supporters will be able to have their photo taken with the Sky Bet League Two trophy between 4pm and 7pm on Monday, 17th June at North Scarle Church (LN6 9EQ).
