Joan Luque has today left Sincil Bank following the expiry of his contract with the football club.

The 26-year old Spaniard signed for The Imps back in August and made his debut in City colours coming on as a late substitute in the 3-1 home win over Notts County at Sincil Bank.

He followed that up with a goal in the Carabao Cup in his first start for the club against Blackburn Rovers before going on loan to National League side, Bromley where he featured four times for The Ravens.

Luque returned to Sincil Bank following his loan spell in November and played his last game in an Imps’ shirt in the Checkatrade Trophy second round tie against League One side, Accrington Stanley at the Wham Stadium.

We would like to thank Joan for his efforts during his time with the club and wish him well for the future.
