Danny Cowley is well aware of what is at stake today as The Imps are tantalisingly close to promotion however today's opponents at Sincil Bank, Cheltenham Town, are second in the current form guide are tough opponents and will take only a top performance from his side to get all three points.

"They are in good form...They're second in the form guide, no coincidence very organised without the ball, they’re big and strong and it’ll be tough for us, we’re going to have to move the ball quickly and try to get overloads and go around them and try to penetrate what is a really organised back line." Danny said.

In the Robin's ranks this weekend is a familiar face, Sean Long, the defender of course was part of the last City side to gain promotion,  he played a big part in the National League winning Imps' side and Danny is pleased to see him back on the grass albeit in opposing colours.

"I've noticed Sean's starting today, he’s had a tough season through injury, he came on last Saturday V Exeter. He’s a top player is Longy and he’ll be up against Bruno so we hope Bruno gets on top of what will be a good battle."

Although people outside the walls of the squad are talking about what maybe this afternoon, Danny says it's 'business as usual' until things are mathmatically decided after what was a good performance at MK Dons which has left his side on the brink of League One football next season.

"I think we were pleased with performance last Saturday and then we were focussed looking into this week. For me it’s about having the same conversations with people as nothing is achieved or done yet. The conversations that are maybe happening outside of the dressing room are things that our boys are totally aware of, but while we’re in a good position nothing has been achieved yet."
