This is a message to all Imps’ supporters who are set to travel to the Ricoh Arena for the SkyBet League Two fixture against Coventry City on Saturday.

At this time, the game is set to go ahead despite the freezing temperatures and impact of Storm Emma around the country, as our counterparts at Coventry City are telling us that areas around the ground and the West Midlands are passable with care.

We would advise you to assess your personalised local travel situation, currently police advice regarding travel around the region is to keep an eye on the weather forecast as it is constantly changing. The police also recommend that all supporters continue to listen to local radio for travel updates as well as following @FCR_Lincs on Twitter and take advice from the Met Office website. Remember to also take into account the weather forecast for the return journey from the West Midlands.

Currently there are no restrictions on the A46 between Lincoln and Coventry. Across the county there have been issues with snow drifting from fields onto the roads so once again we urge fans to check the most up to date information prior to making the decision to travel.

Everyone at Lincoln City Football Club values your support and appreciates your efforts to back the team across the length and breadth of the country, but we would urge you only do so if it is safe to do so.

For details regarding unused tickets, please refer to Coventry City's Customer Charter which can be found HERE

If you decide not to attend the game, please contact info@lincolncityfc.co.uk to inform us of your situation.

Once again, please be reminded to check your local travel reports and police advice before you travel.
