Luke Waterfall has left the Imps to join Shrewsbury Town after the undisclosed fee submitted by the Sky Bet League One side triggered a release clause in the defender's contract.
The 28-year-old made over 130 appearances during his three-year stay at Sincil Bank, and departs with a National League title and a Checkatrade Trophy triumph next to his name.
Waterfall signed for the Imps from Wrexham in the summer of 2015, and has worn the armband for the previous two seasons.
